I read a book, 'Frankenstein'. This story is scary, but it is interesting for me. The main
character is Frankenstein. He makes a big mistake because he takes parts from dead people and builds a new 'man'. The monster is so big and frightening. Nobody approches him, so he wants to feel love. However, he has a ugly face and everyone hurts him when they see him. He feels angry, so he learn to kill someone.... Frankenstein feels also scary, but he can't tell anyone his secret. Therefore his agony continues for a long time. Moreover, some accidents happen. The monster asks Frankenstein to make a woman because he wants company and doesn't want to feel lonly. However Frankenstein suffers from this. If he makes a new 'man' again, his concern will grow. No8. Gulliver's Travels

Gulliver begins his first journey in 1699 and, after a storm at sea, he finds himself in a country called Lilliput, where the people are only fifteen centimetres tall. (from first page)

I read a book, 'Gulliver Travels'. I knew the story because I learned in the English class at high school. But, this book has more detail story than the textbook. It was very fun. Gulliver travels many strange countries. For example, Lilliput where the people are only fifteen centimetres tall, Brobdingnag where the people are huge, Houyhnhnms where horses control. The most favorite story is Houyhnhnms. This country is controled by horses which are intelligent. There are Yahoos who look like people. They are foul and smell. Actually, it is a real human in this country.

No7. The House by the Sea

A married couple, Carl and Linda Anderson, buy a  house by the sea to spend their weekends. But one weekend Linda dose not arrive at the house and Carl begins to worry. (from back cover)

I read a book, 'The House by the Sea'. It is a very interesting story for me. The main characters are Carl and Linda. They are married couple and spend a happy life at first. They buy the house by the sea, so they spend their weekends. He is a businessman, so he has to do a lot of work. Therefor he can't go home early. On the other hand, She wants to stay with him more, so she talks him that she wants him to be with her more. However he can't say 'Yes' because of his many works. She feels lonly and sad. One day, she dose not arrive at the house and he begins to worry. After that, some happening occurs. I understand not only Linda's feeling but also Carl's one.

No.6 One Day

Moreland Road is a street in the city of Bath, England. (p.6)

I read a book, 'One Day'. This book consists of four stories, and each story is related. The main characters are Jason, Nina, Maggie and Sam. A lot of people appear, so it is complicated. However, this book is easy to read because it has easy words. The most interesting story is the Jason's story. Jason is a seventeen -year-old boy and lives with his mother at 12, Moreland Road in Bath. The story begins from a normal Friday evening in Moreland Road. He plans to meet Maria, his girlfriend that day. However, something worse happens to him. Because of this, all of their lives changes. If you have a time, please read it!

No5. My Family and Other Animals

I'll write about this book reviews. Larry's family have all their usual illnesses. She and her mother have bad colds. Her brother has a problem with his ears. Her sister's spots are worse than ever. Only my oldest brother is healthy. Therefore, they need to live in the country. That's why the air in the countryside is fresh and pure. Moreover they need sunshine..., so they move to the countryside. Their new life begins. I come to want to live in nature because these characters enjoy in nature. I think this book is easy to read and short, so anybody can read it quickly. If you want to know the end of the story, please read it.

No4. Moondial

Minty Cane had known she was a witch, or something like it, since she was small.(p.2)

I read a book, 'Moondial'. The main character is Minty. When she spoke the word, 'Moondial!', a cold wind went past her, and she was in a different centry. She met Tom and Sarah who was ghosts. And so her strange adventure begins. She is kind and active parsonality, so I like her. This story is very strange, so it was difficult for me to understand it. However, I recommend this book. Minty's adventure had a lot of scary happenings. This story is similar to the Japanese movie, 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time'. This main character can also go over the time. If you are interested in this story, please read it.
