I read a book, "The Canterville Ghost." It was a frightening story, but I thought it was interesting. There may be many ghosts in the most grand old house. Some of them are quiet and kindly, others are noisy. The latter cause people a lot of trouble, for example, people can't get any sleep at night because of always banging doors, crashing about in chains and many other things. Therefore, people are always afraid of them. However, an American family decide to live in a house where a ghost stays. They are not afraid of ghost, but expectations, ghost is afraid of people.
